Stacy Geier is a long time resident of Pinellas County. She is a wife, mom, business owner, community volunteer and leader. It was through her life experiences that she discovered a great joy in giving back to her community through serving in different capacities.
Growing up in a single parent home developed her determination to make the best out of tough situations. Stacy has always had a focus on building a strong family. Stacy and her husband, Daniel, have been married for over 25 years. Over the years they have taken many steps to improve the overall wellness of every aspect of their lives. Education has always been important to her. She took a comprehensive approach to her children’s education ensuring their needs were being met. This included traditional and non-traditional methods.
Stacy and Daniel have two grown children who have been through every type of academic situation you can imagine. Their oldest was told in kindergarten by her teacher it was illegal for her to pray in school during recess with her friends. This led them into a private school for a few years. After their daughter was bullied for an entire year they decided to try homeschooling for both girls. Their oldest ultimately ended up back in a vocational program at a public high school as well as dual enrolled at SPC. She currently owns a successful business in Pinellas County in the vocation she trained for. Their youngest graduated high school with her associates degree and received Florida Bright Futures Scholarship as well as collegiate scholarships. She currently attends a Florida University. Although her kids were in different types of schooling, Stacy was the superintendent, the administrator, the principal, the guidance counselor and the teacher for 10 years. She understands the educational process.
Stacy is a successful business owner with experience in managing employees, balancing a budget, understanding client and employee retention. She has been an advocate for her children’s well being and education while running a business and serving in the community. It is now time for her to serve her community through advocating for the families of Pinellas County.
